Just to keep everyone up on the state of my auto: I’ve got mailings off that will hopefully extend my registration while I work out the costs involved in bringing the emissions up to snuff. I have applied for economic assistance towards these repairs. I feel that there is the likelihood that my two mailings will result in some sort of confusion and further problems due to DMV administration or postal misplacement.
My main concern now is getting my windshield repaired and signed off by the authorities before my ticket date expires. I’ll be trolling for reliable but cheap auto body shops and their accompanying estimates tomorrow and/or Saturday.
I’ll be seeing the doctor tomorrow to diagnose my near 3 week malady. I hope it is not expensive but I’m guessing it’s going to be about the same price as my recent exhaust work when all is said and done. Sure it’ll start out cheap but all the add-on’s and “necessary” work will bleed me like a medieval leech.
Oh yes… my Seattle vacation was GREAT. More on that later.
