ShoBusch remote control – the next generation

My friend’s have this monolithic big screen television set that was a “gifted” to them after helping someone move out. If I remember correctly, only one of my friend’s was involved with this move and consequently caused immense trauma to his back upon bringing the “gift” back to his home. The friendly neighbor was, of course, included in the herculean task of inching the beast up the stairs to their apartment, no doubt an exhausting tag-team display of athleticism and gymnastic acumen.

The whole point of this is to introduce the remote control that came along with the aforementioned outmoded, luxury entertainment center. The “gift” came with a key pad controller containing all manner of buttons and options placed into a sturdy (some might say cumbersome or even massive), square, black plastic brick about two thirds the size of a standard mouse pad. It’s a command center befitting the stature of such a luxurious mass of entertainment equipment.

The point of all this? I believe I’ve found the next generation of this portable control center. Where else would it be other than at a website dedicated to remote controls? (NOTE: I am not a regular visitor of this or similar jackass websites. I found this in a digression from a much nerdier pursuit.)

Is this incredibly expensive piece of shit really the future? What other wastes of time, money and technology can we daisy chain into the idiot box that is already bristling with boob-tube technology? Honestly, if you have this stupid portable box with virtual keyboards, dials, knobs, sounds, alarms, pictures in a picture and even web browsers; then why the hell not just watch tv on that fucking thing and save yourself some time and energy. Will this further stimulate those brain cells that would otherwise have died while watching insert name of any typical TV show here but most likely something produced by, directed by and starring Chuck Norris ?

I could go on but I’ve wasted too much time already. My last slight on this heinous product is going to be multiple choice just to prove that words are as interactive as the ridiculous technology products of today. Here goes:

The best explanation for this collossal waste of time, talent, energy, money and technology is:

(a) Rich people are stupid.
(b) White people are stupid.
(c) Nearly everyone is stupid.

And yes, I have CRT poisoning.
