the nature of war
PBS presents an interview with Lt. General Paul Van Riper who discusses the art of war versus the science of war, giving an inside perspective of the technology of war and it’s application. I’m curious about the Millennium Challenge 2002 that is discussed. As a side note, I very much appreciate all armed services members. Chiefly, when asked, they seem to be the strongest voices attesting to how truly terrible war really is. It seems hypocritical for anyone to want war if they are not in the armed forces and I’m sure anyone actually in the armed forces really would prefer not to be in the midst of one.
