patented

There seems to be some sort of trend regarding money grubbing technology companys who use their proprietary and annoying patents as leverage in scary letters sent out to smaller companies. These smaller companies are coerced into capitulating royalty payments or cease and desist behavior when the larger tech companies equate their patent to the openly available ideas and systems that the smaller company utilizes.

Many people who have heard from these companies seem to worry that a royalty payment might suddenly be required or that they are unknowingly violating preestablished rules or laws. How many smaller, but still profitable companies have provided agreements or payments to these larger companies to avoid possible difficulties or litigation? I despise bullies, greed, extortion and fraud. It takes money to make money; it takes money to take money.

“You know, it just occurred to me that it’s likely noone has patented the process of supplying O2 molecules to tissue using an Fe based intermediary. If I make the language even MORE obscure, I bet I could get it past the idiots in the patent office, and I could own you all!!!!! Ahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!”
