cabin fever antidote
Yay. I got out of San Diego for the weekend. I really needed the time away from my live/work bunker here in the… crested hills. So I traded them for some bigger ones. The time went way too fast and the couch surfing was a little hectic but my many hosts were all extremely and amazingly generous and friendly. Big boni were kamikaze cab rides and snagging some random skateboarding footage of my creaky knees. I really miss Josh and Dan (and Alicia, Cathy, Sharan and Sean :). And a really big sadness was not getting to see Celena, though I know she is (as always) seriously on the go. I hope she wasn’t mad at me for barging in and taking up all of Josh’s time and forcing the hospitality out of both of them. I’m sure I would have gotten the business end of her new mattock if that was the case. Anyway, I’ll expound later. I’m beat – but in a good way. Thank you to everyone who sponsored this excursion and gave me their quality time and companionship. (And thank you knees for remaining attached to this frail, deformed and underfed frame despite the duress.)
