trip notes
I’ve got nothing interesting to say but just wanted to give a quick update… I’m having fun and I only have a minute to write this because I spent too much time checking in on Tysen’s world. Of course I’m extremely concerned about the aformentioned friend’s current mental state because I ditched him with a pile of work that only he could possibly battle… Tysen – I owe you and I hope you have a good birthday in Las Vegas.
I’ve done lots of shopping and have been enjoying the subway and trains of Tokyo which make me homesick for Chicago . There are more lines but they are actually as easy or easier to navigate oddly enough. Can’t wait to skate with Toru but I’m still working out the arrangements/dates and the train ticket. Chako’s family has been great and their driving is amazing on the tiny, winding roads here. The hotel is cheap and very nice. Geez… this is brief but I’ve no time. Everyone’s waiting as usual. I’m off for more shopping and sites.
